Polaroid PIC 1000

Typically I don't like to repost things that have already been covered over and over. And even more-so ones that are a few months old. But from time to time one will stick out as particularly unusual or in this case. Extremely awesome.

Announced at this years CES the Polaroid PIC 1000 is the first film camera from Polaroid to be developed since they stopped film production in 2008. So now, with "The Impossible Project" having released it's first production run of film just a few weeks ago. It only seems fit to launch a new camera as well.

You can clearly see some retro inspired design work akin more to the sx-70 based polaroids rather than the One-Step 600s of which it shares film. And just for you hipsters out there they have produced a woodgrain option as well.

Expect releas sometime this year and to be priced under $100.
