My work in Then. Now. Here.

As I have over the past few years started to develop different collections and series of photos in my work, some of which have happened because I have worked for them. other because I have accidentally discovered different patterns in how I shoot. I have been working hard to get the word out there about me and what I do. This mainly involves entering more and more shows, and being publicized through more mediums.

Recently some of one of my over-arching projects that was first started as a part of my 365 Project has been getting some nice press. It will be the feature of a solo show in June, and this month is a part of the Then. Now. Here. show.

Then. Now. Here. is a traveling public projection that is being displayed in a number of places around Portland. And yes I do realize that I am posting this blog halfway through the month, so you may have already missed a showing or two. But that really isn't the purpose of this post! At the first showing on April 5th I took a few snapshots with my trusty Olympus Stylus Epic and some Walgreens 800 speed film. A few were blurry due to the relatively slow shutter speed but I'd say they came out pretty good! Have a look for yourself!

All of my images in this show were shot with a Polaroid Macro 5 SLR and either Impossible Project PZ680, or Polaroid Spectra Softtone.
