New toy

After firmly believing that I should not step foot back into a camera store in order to keep myself from spending money. My good friend Alex managed to get me back into one. And surprise surprise, I started the day with 2 cameras on me, and ended with 3. The new one is a Yashica 635 that is in outstandingly good condition. So I didn't mind paying a little extra for it. And because of the holidays I happened to have some $$ in gift certificates. So I ended up walking away only paying $25. Not bad all said and done.

It came with everything that it would have new aside from the box and manual. But thanks to a little bit of googling I was able to download a copy. The leather case is in outstanding condition, but the really neat part is that the camera came with the COMPLETE 35mm conversion kit. Which I've heard is a pretty rare find.

I've already put a roll of 35mm and 3 120s through it in about a week. It's always fun to learn how something new works and this is no different. I'm eager to process and develop the film and see just what kind of shape the optics are in. I'd like to thank Jordan at Advance Camera Inc for not only giving me a great deal on the camera, but also for showing me how to use it and fixing the shutter that happened to be stuck.
