I started out the day thinking it would be like the one before and I would go to the gym, work out, eat and if I was lucky get a few shots in. Well how wrong was I.
So I ended up meeting Alex at Advance Camera and picked up two rolls of film. I had brought along my Yashica, Holga, and Canon AE-1 Program thinking that if I was lucky I would get to finish off what is in the Yashica and Canon with a few snapshots here and there. The other two rolls were just in case we got lucky. And did we ever.
Taking the usual route downtown towards McAdam and seeing the same things we had seen 1,000 times before we continued southbound. Going over the Sellwood bridge I said to Alex,
"You know what would be neat? If we could get into Oaks Park and take some pictures there when no one is around"
He felt the same way, so we took a gamble to see if the park was open and how much some tickets might be to get in. Well not only was it open to the public but it was completely free! So I grabbed the 3 cameras and 4 rolls of film and shot my heart out.
I had a great time, saw some awesome things and got some great shots. Look for them up on the main site in the next few days!
